Winner of the 2021 Toronto Mozart Vocal Competition, 2022 New York NYIOP ANON Competition, 2021 Premio Speciale Mozart at Concorso Lirico Arturo Toscanini and finalist at the 2022 Montserrat Caballé Competition in Teatro Real.
2024/25 season sees Sarah reprise the role of Argene L’Olimpiade at Teatro Tina di Lorenzo, Sicily, make her company debut with Fondazione Haydn di Bolzano e Trento as La Ciesca Gianni Schicchi conducted by Maestro Michele Gamba directed by Valentina Carrasco, Olga Eugene Onegin conducted by Dominic Limburg, cover Hansel Hansel and Gretel Royal Ballet and Opera, Elgar's Sea Pictures conducted by Jac van Steen on BBC Radio 3, and release her debut album with SOMM Recordings. In the 2023/24 season Sarah toured Argene in Vivaldi’s L’Olimpiade for Irish National Opera/Royal Opera House/Nouvel Opéra Fribourg conducted by Peter Whelan. Other important roles included Hansel Hansel and Gretel, Idamante Idomeneo, Rosina Il barbiere di Siviglia with Ulster Touring Opera and the premiere of Helen in Conor Mitchell’s The Headless Soldier. Sarah made her Wexford Festival Opera debut as Willie in Mascagni’s Guglielmo Ratcliff, returning as Yelena Popova The Bear, Veronique Le Docteur Miracle, and Meg Falstaff. Elsewhere roles include Komponist Ariadne auf Naxos Mousaverse, Mezzo in Waley Cohen’s Spell Book and Terza Damigella La Liberazione di Ruggiero Longborough Festival Opera, La Zia Principessa Suor Angelica Random Opera, Kate Owen Wingrave Opera Collective Ireland, Cherubino and Dritte Dame Opera in the Open, Mercédès Carmen North West Opera/Cairo Opera, and Suzuki Madama Butterfly Lyric Opera.
In demand on the concert platform, prominent conductors of solo engagements include Sir Mark Elder, Vasily Petrenko and Michael Collins MBE. Sarah enjoys a close relationship with The Ulster Orchestra, with whom she has performed Respighi’s Il Tramonto, Falla's El amor brujo, Bach’s B Minor Mass and BBC Invitation Concerts. A regular interpreter of Messiah, performances include Monte Carlo with Ristretto, Irish Baroque Orchestra conducted by Peter Whelan, Ulster Orchestra conducted by Nic Chalmers and Irish Sinfonia conducted by Niall Kinsella. Sarah gave a recital with Florent Mourier for the Royal Opera House (now Royal Ballet and Opera) and performed in their first Create Day. Further recital appearances incorporate Oxford Lieder Festival, DEBUT, National Concert Hall, and Cameratina with Roderick Williams OBE and Susanna Stranders. Notable opera galas include for English National Opera, with Brigitta Picco in Soriano nel Cimino, and with Brunswick Vocal Arts. She trained at English National Opera as an 'Opera Works' Artist, the National Opera Studio 'Short Course' and at the RNCM as a Drapers de Turckheim Scholar.
